The Inform Team support the University of Law’s Future IT (FIT) programme with communications, engagement and training services.
Today’s students expect traditional methods of teaching to be supplemented by innovative learning techniques, such as online and app-based learning and video. Higher education facilities must be able to compete by providing such modern and varied offerings; this relies on stable and robust IT.
The University of Law have launched the FIT programme to optimise their IT. Phase one of the refresh will provide an improved network, improved WiFi across campuses and Microsoft Office 365 for students and staff. The technology will improve the user experience and allow the University to update key offerings such as the Legal Practice Course (LPC), which provides students with an MSc in Law, Business and Management.
A crucial component of the programme is ensuring that the impact to the University’s student community and its staff is minimal; one of the ways such programmes can ensure this is through communication, engagement and training.
