Success story

Building relationships and delivering results

The Inform Team becomes a trusted strategic partner.

The task at hand

The Ministry of Defence wanted to engage a change adoption specialist to help deliver much greater value across their people, processes and technologies.

The project in numbers

30

strong partnerships formed, working together daily.

400

tailored courses delivered over three years.

11

departments supported by our engagement managers.

Delivering with creativity and passion

Our engagement managers really get people and every day they work with leaders and colleagues from all departments within MOD. It’s their role to ask the questions that reveal individual pain points, find the right solution, then deliver it in a way that works for each department and individual. Essentially, they’re the extra pair of hands organisations rely on to get things done.

Over the past three years, with all their insight and experience, our engagement managers have become the go-to people for new ideas and requirements at MOD – and they’re a great sounding board too.

What we did

Connected on a personal level

We got to the very core of how each team worked, how they collaborated across multiple locations and what their requirements were.

Tailored courses

Training courses were adapted to fit the requirements of each team and directorate and were complemented with guidance on how to encourage users to sign up.

Stepped outside BAU

We pushed the boundaries by presenting innovative and modern solutions to upskill and increase collaboration among colleagues.

How we did it

1

We gained deep insights

We talked to users about their knowledge gaps, listened to their ideas and took time to understand their priorities so we could deliver the best solution.

2

We became part of the team

We made it our mission to immerse ourselves in the organisational culture, foster strong relationships and engage with our contacts daily.

3

We focused on purpose

We stepped in to bring clarity of purpose, new ideas on technology adoption and many safe pairs of hands to support where required.

The result

Since our first engagement, we’ve built strong and trusted relationships with our contacts, mutually focused on delivering the right solutions at the right time.

Our targeted training was both relevant and real for users, meaning people felt confident coming to us with a wide range of requirements thereafter.

It’s a partnership. The support the engagement managers have provided has been invaluable. They seem to know us better than we do. It’s great to see them in our locations and working with our teams.
