Success story

Windows 11 rollout

From rollout to readiness

We helped Ofgem move 1,900 colleagues to Windows 11 smoothly and at pace.

The challenge

When Windows 10 reached end of life, Ofgem had a fixed deadline to complete the transition, with no room for disruption to day-to-day work.

Digital confidence varied widely. Some teams were already comfortable with Microsoft 365. Others were starting from scratch.

Thousands of people needed to feel supported and ready, all while the clock was ticking.

Our approach

We built a joined-up change, communications and training strategy to make the rollout clear, inclusive and confidently delivered.

1

Understand the change

We started with a Change Impact Assessment and Case for Change to map exactly what would shift for every colleague, from system impacts to accessibility requirements.

2

Engage early and often

Through tailored communications and engagement plans, we kept leaders, teams and users aligned from pilot to post go-live.

3

Prepare and empower users

We delivered readiness plans, pilot updates and accessible learning materials, including guides, posters, videos and SharePoint content, so everyone knew what to expect.

4

Enable real-time support

Our team managed the Windows 11 mailbox to answer questions fast, capture insights and share solutions across the organisation.

5

Drive confident adoption

From quick Learning Bites to live walk-throughs and informal drop-ins, colleagues could learn in the way that suited them best. Everything was backed by clear Quick Reference Guides and short videos in the Digital Hub.
